Kjaer's Agent: No Interest From Italy For My Client

As Roma and the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool will have to expand their search party for a top class defensive enforcer, as Wolfsburg declare their intentions to keep Simon Kjaer, even if it is for one additional year.

The agent of the impressive center-back Mikkel Beck, claims no Serie A club has made an official request for the services of his client. Speaking exclusively to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Beck spoke of the 22-year-old's importance to the former Bundesliga champions, and maintained his earlier stance that the club will do everything within its power to try and keep their asset happy and fulfilled for as long as he stays put.

He said: "I am not aware of any interest from Italy for my client. So, I can tell you he is not moving to Italy. Simon is one of the most important player in Wolfsburg, so we expect him to play here again next season."
