Arshavin: "Wenger wished us luck" after Fulham match

Andrey insists he's happy at Arsenal and thanked the fans for their un-divided support.

Arsenal's controversial midfielder Andrey Arshavin told his official website that Arsene Wenger advised them after the match against Fulham to rest properly ahead of next season.

The 28-year-old midfielder said: "He wished us luck. Particularly the players who will fly to South Africa.
Arsene said that it was important for us to have a rest.
So that next season we will be able to challenge for the title.
He stressed that in the future we must take the trophies."

He acknowledged the fact that he wouldn't have played at the Champions League quarter final if he was still in Russia: "It was the first time in my life to be involved in the Champions League quarter final. And I realised the Champions League is earnest.
