Marouane Chamakh: "I still have room for improvement"

Arsenal's new striker Marouane Chamakh has admitted that he still needs to improve and hopes to do so under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger

Chamakh, who recently formalised his transfer to Arsenal after winning the 2009 French Ligue1 crown and two French Cups with former club Bordeaux, reiterated his desire to win more silverware with his new club, but hinted that he must adapt to the rigours of the English Premier League quickly, if he's to stand a strike of a chance of achieving his objective with the Gunners.

The 26-year-old said: "I still have room for improvement. I have not yet acquired all my qualities needed to progress in another League.

"When a manager like Arsene Wenger is interested it gives you the motivation to improve."

He is under so much pressure and I'm glad he understands what he is in for... I hope he adapts fast though...

He certainly will, lets hope he adapts quickly, then we can be proud
to tag him a prolific scorer, who knows? He might end up an Arsenal
cult hero.

Wenger knows that already - lets hope he does something about the
