Arsenal linked with Lille duo; Eden Hazard and Gk Mickael Landreau for €25m

With a few days left on the transfer market timer - Some people in the know seriously believe The Arsenal is currently working round the clock in order to beat the impending transfer deadline day with a view to securing the necessary deals.

According to some unsubstantiated stories - The North London outfit is willing to hold talks with their Ligue1 counterpart LOSC Lille, in respect to two of their players; Mickael Landreau (Goalkeeper) and impressive AMF Eden Hazard. If the proposed deal is true (I can't vouch for the authenticity of any report), then Arsenal must be prepared to part with a mouth-watering fee of €25m.

The 19 year-old Hazard, has made his mark on the "daily bound to Arsenal front" likewise the 30 year-old Landreau, who I think was linked with a move to The Emirates Stadia last year. That not withstanding, I don't think Arséne Wenger is planning another transfer raid (player-wise), given his strategical inclination to signings which sometimes take months to complete (Koscielny), and it often take days for full medical analysis of new intakes to be concluded (Squillaci). Speaking of our new Sevilla boy, if everything did go as planned then I don't see why he won't be unveiled this week, or maybe he's supposed to be our almost inaugural transfer deadline day coup. Further news about Squillaci and other rumours can be found here.
