Arsenal still linked with Shaun Wright-Philips

The Telegraph reckons, fellow North London rivals Tottenham might also join the fray, as they plan to consolidate their satisfactory (4th) finish.

The report was centered primarily, on the old school notion that Wrighty's woes at the Eastlands could earn him a one-way ticket to the Emirates, an idea I'd like to believe, but I am 'in the know', so I won't for now.

Unconfirmed rumours understand that Manchester City's coach Roberto Mancini, is ready to replace the out of form winger with Aston Villa's David Milner, or preferably Valencia's David Silva. A possible deal for the latter, will most likely break the current English club transfer record.

Two months ago, Shaun was touted in the media, as being available for a cut price of £5m. The ongoing 2010 World Cup will definitely determine his true value - maybe he'll add a few extra millions enough to scare Arsene Wenger and co. away.
