Nicklas Bendtner happy with his performance

Arsenal's 'late-goal' specialist Nicklas Bendtner is relishing his World Cup experience with Denmark.

The 22-year old striker who was instrumental to Cameroon's elimination from the World Cup, is still adamant he can actualise his somewhat lofty dream of being crowned the tournament's top scorer.

His presence and importance to the Danish team can't be overstated, given his important goals for them en route to South Africa.

Bendtner's goal tally might be low as a striker in comparison to other attackers. He's definitely not the best striker at the World Cup, but also he isn't the
least and I admire his courage and ability to withstand criticism.

Bendtner said: "I am glad that I managed to overtake the defenders and get to the ball before them. It was not easy, but if I have not used the opportunity it would have upset me.

"You never know what the outcome of the next match will be. Higuain in one game, he scored three goals at once. But I hope to improve throughout the duration of the Championship. So I can contribute to the progress of the national team of Denmark to advance as far as possible."
