Marseille beat Arsenal to Cesar Azpilicueta

Looks like our transfer speculation business is on the wane.

Ligue1 outfit Olympique Marseille announced a few hours ago, that they've found common ground with their Spanish counterparts (Osasuna), with regard to their interest in Cesar Azpilicueta.

Marseille are set to sign the 20-year old Spain international, who was supposedly an Arsenal target from the Spanish club - in a four-year deal believed to be worth €7m.

wenger is joking. Who is he going to sign to secure d goal post 4 arsenal? If Almunia is arsenal 1st choice next season, ill leave arsenal n join portsmouth. Lorenz

Hmm... I sometimes find it difficult to understand Arsene Wenger. All we can just do is trust. I was reading on the website yesterday that He promised He'd sign a defender from the World Cup. Lets hope that happens :)

Listen to you all, LMFAO, every year it's the same, as soon as we are linked with a player all you get is a bunch of mugs giving it Sign him up and Wenger doesn't know *****! We'll sign who we sign and that IS down to Wenger and He does know more than me , you and the rest of you ******s out there!!

Point of correction mate - I've never suggested a player to Arsene
Wenger, the problem with your likes is that you fail to recognise the
simple fact that they are ******s and the likelihood of a possible
outcome exists only if the club own up to their interest.
I hope you understand!
Arsene shuold get us a definsivemilder a good keeper and definders
