Wenger: Hangeland "is a good player" but I'm not interested

Wenger forget Hangeland link - it's merely a rumour.

Arsenal' manager Arsene Wenger has rejected claims he's being keeping tabs on Fulham's centre back Brede Hangeland.

The Frenchman made reference to experience as a yardstick for any potential buy, but he revealed to the official website that he has never contemplated the idea of bringing the versatile defender to the Emirates.

Anyway, the player in question (Hangeland) recently committed his long term future to the cottagers - reducing the probability of a switch.

The 60-year-old gaffer told Arsenal Tv Online that Brede is a good player and he coyly refused to rule out a future move: "I find he is a good player but we have never been in for him."
