Adem Ljajic's Agent Pours Cold Water On Arsenal Transfer Talk

Arsenal have been (reportedly) in the running for the signature of Fiorentina's Serbian import Adem Ljajic for the past three years. But the highly anticipated move from Italy to England may not materialise if the recent comments attributed to his agent Giorgio Parretti are anything to write home about.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is currently making waves in the Seria A, and although Parretti admitted earlier that there was interest from a number of foreign clubs in respect to signing his client -it looks like the playmaker is willing to buckle up and fight for his 'rightful' place in the starting eleven of the Italian outfit.

The agent was quoted in the Italian press as saying: "Adem is training with an air of confidence, pleasure and desire. He is obviously not happy to be on the bench, but he loves the club and will like to stay. He wants to have an opportunity to play and will be ready when called into action. The stories concerning his transfer to Arsenal, Everton and the other teams are just rumours."
