Malaga In Advanced Talks With Almunia

Arsenal's out of favour goal-keeper Manuel Almunia, is reportedly set to join La Liga's in vogue side Malaga, in the coming days.

The Spaniard had being briefed in advance by his club's management, who told him in unequivocal terms that his services were no longer needed, prompting the search for a new club. In his heyday, the handsome dude held sway over matters relating to his department. But the emergence of enterprising youngsters such as; Fabianski, Mannone and recently Wojciech - has contributed in no small measure to big Al's imminent departure.

According to television channel Antena 3 Malaga's manager Manuel Pelligrini is set to offer his namesake a lifeline, in return for the experience and leadership qualities he possesses. Pelligrini, is aware of Arsenal's position in respect to contractual terms with their employee, but anonymous sources claim he is confident of signing his target for a fraction of the fee (believed to be in the region of £4m).
