Arsenal set to reignite Valbuena interest

Frugal North London club Arsenal, are reportedly prepared to consider their available options in the eventuality that they lose one or possibly two of their established midfielders in the coming weeks.

The Gunners are long term admirers of Mathieu Valbuena, and will prioritize his arrival if they fail to make leeway with the current saga involving Samir Nasri, who has refused to extend his current contract beyond next year when his contract is due to expire, despite a significant increase in the terms of the offer believed to be in an excess of €4.3 million on a yearly basis.

The diminutive midfielder is held in high regard by Olimpique Marseille manager Didier Deschamps, who is not only reluctant to sell 'The Little Bike', but will be ready to cash in on his sale big time if the technical crew of the club is forced to do without the player's services during the upcoming Ligue1 season.

To deter potential suitors Jose Anigo, is rumoured to have slammed a whooping €25 price tag on the midfielder.
