Lorient will keep Koscielny despite a €10m offer from Arsenal

Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, were said to be on the verge of signing the central defender, who is been touted in the media as the perfect replacement for the outgoing duo of William Gallas and Mikael Sylvestre

However, today's edition of L'equipe states otherwise, maintaining the Gunners move for Laurent Koscielny has been rebuffed by the French outfit.

The report authoritatively affirmed that Lorient won't let go their coveted defender, whom they bought last year from Tours for approximately €1.5m - the 24-year-old has successfully carved a niche for himself, and can boast of a place amongst Ligue1's top defenders.
