Transfer Tidbits [Almunia, Hart, Cahill, Hugo]

What went wrong yesterday? Due to some circumstances beyond my control I failed to watch our Barclays Premier League match against Wigan.

Although I knew we were gunner face the Latics at the DW Stadium with a depleted squad, I deliberately refused to think of the glaring possibility of losing, honestly I still can't fathom the fact that we threw away a two goal lead in the final minutes of the match - all said and done I think I'll need to watch the match personally to be able to arrive at a conclusion.

Below are a few transfer targets, the papers believe will spur Hill-Wood, Wenger, Gazidis and any other person that runs/or has a say in how the finances of our dear club are administered might consider.

¤ Almunia - according to the Daily Mirror Arsenal's 32-year-old Spanish goal keeper Manuel Almunia, might be leaving the Emirates for the San Siro this Summer. The Italian giants are extremely interested in the player's signature, so as to forestall any eventuality if Nelsen Dida decides to switch to England [preferably to Liverpool].

According to the reports Arsenal are set to replace the outgoing Almunia with Joe Hart. The Gunners are finally ready to secure their top-flight position by making an offer of €10m for Manchester City's safe hands Joe Hart. The 23-year-old goal keeper is currently playing on loan at St. Andrews for Birmingham City.

¤ Gary Cahill - Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger is interested in signing Gary Cahill. The 24-year-old English Centre-back is currently plying his trade for Bolton Wanderers, and he's being touted as the perfect replacement for the injured William Gallas.

¤ Hugo Rodallega - Finally, Le Professeur has set his eyes on Wigan's impressive striker Hugo Rodallega.
The manager wants to snap the 25-year-old forward, who according to many is a replica of ex Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor.
