Wenger begs Cesc to stay for 2 more years

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told Fabregas to forget his Barcelona dreams for a third time by insisting he can win whatever he wants at the Emirates.

Fabregas wants his future settled immediately and he's being careful not to bite the hand that fed him (Barcelona), also the Spaniard has reiterated his desire to stay but that might hinge on a few agreements.

He has promised to make his wishes known clear to Arsenal and quickly. He was quoted by Marca as saying he would leave Arsenal only for Barca, but he's in no hurry for such a move now.

Wenger wants Fabregas to stay for two more years at Arsenal, during which time he believes Arsenal can win the Premier League and also stand a better chance of mounting a genuine assault for the Champions League with the likes of Inter Milan, Barcelona, Manchester United and our London rivals Chelsea.

Manchester City, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus have all indicated their interest to sign the player, but Barca are his preferred destination, and after five seasons without a trophy to show for his efforts Fabregas might not be able to refuse the Spanish club's tempting offer.

Even a one-year compromise deal would at least afford Arsene Wenger sometime to realise his plan, but Fabregas is worried the manager is yet to commit his own future past next season.

Should Fabregas be allowed to leave?
