FCB general manager Joan Oliver: 'Cesc is not close to signing'

Barcelona's general manager Joan Oliver has reminded reporters that Cesc Fabregas is still an Arsenal player and the possibility of him rejoining the Catalan club is very slim.

Contrary to media reports, Joan Oliver has made known the real facts about Cesc Fabregas' purpotedly anticipated move to Barcelona, and has reiterated the club's earlier promise to respect the North London outfit throughout this unending saga: "This will be a long process," he told Fcbarcelona.com

"The player is under contract with another club. What he wants and what we want isn't enough - there's Arsenal.
We understand that he is a very important player for them."
