Agent: Arshavin will remain at Arsenal

Arshavin's agent (Dennis Lachter), has spoken on behalf of his client who has being the recipient of numerous criticism from the gooner nation.

The striker was quoted as saying: "Even playing just one season for Barcelona would make a pinnacle of my whole career."

Although, Dennis Lachter coyly refused to dispel the rumours - he made it clear that the forward hopes to remain at Arsenal for the rest of his career.

Lachter told Telegraph sport: "To be at the tail of the top teams in Europe is not what the manager, the players and the fans deserve," he added that it will take something "extraordinarily dramatic" for him not to end his career at Arsenal.
