Juve plan Arsenal raid

The Mail, understands that Juventus are preparing to lure Arsenal' duo of Robin Van Persie and Bacary Sagna to the Stadio Olimpico, in a bid to increase their chances of winning a trophy next season.

The Italian club is set to use Gianluigi Buffon (33) and Felipe Melo (27) as bait for Robin Van Persie. The Old Lady has being a long-term admirer of the 27-year-old striker, who returned to action for the Gunners against Tottenham last week, after enduring a long-spell on the sidelines due to an injury.

The report believes the bargain might work out due to the idea that both players are great in their respective positions, and the economic disposition of Mr Wenger.

Juventus are thought to have also enquired about the availability of Arsenal's right-back Bacary Sagna.
The 27-year-old's Agent recently rebuffed claims that his client was Italy bound.
But the tabloid expects Arsene Wenger to spend heavily in the transfer market this summer, and maybe he might replace the Frenchman who has failed to live up to the lofty expectations of the Arsenal faithful with Ajax's no-nonsense defender Gregory Van der Wiel, who has improved tremendously in the last couple of years.
