Cavenaghi might join Chamakh at the Emirates

Argentine striker Fernando Cavenaghi is set to leave Girondins Bordeaux alongside Emirates bound Marouane Chamakh.

The player's agent Nestor Sivori, revealed that teams from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and even Ligue1 are currently jostling for an opportunity to snap the forward.

The 26-year-old has been an integral part of Bordeaux's squad, helping them put an end to Lyon's dominance last year, but just like every professional the ex Spartak Moscow star believes there is much to aim for outside the Ligue1.

Speaking on behalf of his client Nestor Sivori told Calciomercato:"Actually lately I've been in contact, although in the past these teams have expressed interest for the player, but for now there are no concrete offers, although teams have stepped from England, Spain, Italy and also France. They will all be evaluated.

"Tomorrow I will go to Bordeaux to know more about his situation. From what I know, Blanc (Bordeaux's coach) might stay another season. If you keep the grit a bit, Fernando could go on.

"The price? Last summer I recieved offers from €12m but then it was not enough.
Today the market is different, because the player's contract will expire in 2011."

With this new players i believe Arsenal will do well as a team and i still know that the club will still go for more players, more in the defense line where we use to have more problem this season. The likes of Chamark will be needed,we need plyers who are very fast with the ball and not only this ones we need our club should go for more players to strengthen the club then nest season will be a thing of the past for the club with more glory for us all gunners 4life.

Well, done mate! I believe Wenger is playing his cards close to his
chest. Lets hope the arrival of a centre back is in his master plan.
